Rony : Two of you in competition, why should you win?
Nathan: Erm, well…
Rony : You come from Wickersley. That’s not going enough reason for you to get 5000 quid is it?
Nathan: No its not. Erm, it’s all down to the business plan. And errr whether
Rony : Are you as charmless as all those other people on all those programmes, the apprentices. Are you as conceited about what you do as they are, are you as fond as yourself as they are?
Nathan : Ermm no, I think, I think, erm
Rony : Answer
Nathan : My ego isn’t as large as some of those.
Rony : Its not. But you came in pretty cocky about what you’ve done I must say today, you’re pretty sort of, sure of yourself aren’t you about it?
Nathan : I’m very erm, happy with all the work that I’ve put in to it and erm and , yeah the results have shown, I have got interests from manufacturers.
UPDATE
Well the cocky so and so only went on to win it.
I think the takeaway from this is to ignore the bellends such as Rony. I always give this bit of advice to any aspiring entrepreneur.
